About CFPA
Central Florida Performing Arts (CFPA), a non-auditioned musical theater group for kids in the 3rd grade and up, provides children the opportunity to grow and develop in the areas of singing, dancing, and acting while building confidence and self-esteem through performing. Since 1998, CFPA has had hundreds of children participate in their community program and has put on over 30 musical productions.

Our goal is to instill a love of music and theater in all our students and CFPA offers classes in the fall and spring with multiple performances of a Broadway show at the end of each semester.

Some of our past musicals include Disney’s Aladdin Jr., Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr., Willy Wonka Jr., Disney’s Peter Pan Jr., Annie Jr., Seussical Jr., Elf Jr., Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr. and most recently, Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.

If your child loves to sing, dance & act, they will love performing in Central Florida Performing Arts’ Star Kids School Program of musical theater for children ages 3 yrs. to 3rd grade! CFPA’s Star Kids School Program puts on 2 musical plays each school year and the weekly classes are held right at the school!

This is a parent-paid program and the CFPA staff handles all the promotion and payments. As a thank you for allowing us to be there, we give back 5% of the tuition to the school. We are currently doing programs at Tuskawilla Montessori Academy in Oviedo and Center For Early Childhood Education at the Maitland Presbyterian Church in Maitland.

Over the past 12 years, Star Kids students at these schools have performed such fun musicals as This Old Gingerbread House, E-I-E-I Oops!, Bugz, Circus Circus, Get Hoppin’, Lemonade, How Does Your Garden Grow, Stone Soup, Schoolhouse Bop, A Day for the Cat in the Hat, DisneyMania, Arf, and more!

Confidence and self-esteem are built along with learning the fun music and choreography in our Star Kids classes. Of course the highlight of each semester is the wonderful performance that the kids put on for parents, friends and classmates right at the school.

If you think your child’s preschool would be interested in having the Star Kids program offered, then please contact Delisa at info@cfpatheater.com.

From Lynn Brown, Director of CECE
"Star Kids has been an excellent musical addition to our school for the last 12 years. Not only has the quality of the program been one of excellence, but it is run in an extremely professional manner. Under the direction of Delisa and Skye, CFPA has produced outstanding programs every year. The families of those children who participate in Star Kids have always had such a positive experience. I would highly recommend this program to any school that would like to offer a musical enrichment program. It has been and continues to be a great asset for our school."

From Terry DeLong, Admissions Director of Tuskawilla Montessori Academy
